The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) and Gold Level Sponsor, Islandsbanki, will be holding a one-day Geothermal Energy Finance Forum on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton, Battery Park in New York City.  This program will bring the finance and investment community of New York City together and provide a tutorial on geothermal energy investment with top experts and major players in geothermal development and finance. The day’s agenda includes presentations and panel discussion on; geothermal technology, geothermal project development, financing and investment, risk mitigation, employment, government finance and incentives, legal and regulatory issues, and case studies from developers and financers with recent success stories. In addition to bringing together the geothermal community with the finance and investment communities, this event will highlight the global growth in geothermal production and use.
