Worldwide geothermal development is turning the corner in 2013. Recent reports show an estimated 18.6 gigawatts of geothermal development in the pipeline in 70 countries. Broken down into dollars and cents, that is $100 billion in investment in the geothermal industry, an industry where U.S. companies are leaders.

Come to the International Geothermal Energy Finance Forum and meet these industry leaders. The full day Forum will provide a day long discussion featuring the leaders of geothermal development, private and public financing, and project risk and reward.

What:

The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) will be holding a full day US and International Geothermal Energy Finance Forum on Thursday, April 11th at the Marriott Marquis New York. This event will bring geothermal industry together with the finance and investment community. In this global market,  this program will not only highlight U.S. geothermal development and the keys to getting projects done in our back yard but also projects, policies, and development driving geothermal growth in the world’s top markets. This program will provide both an update and outlook on US and international geothermal development, the state of geothermal technology, a discussion of geothermal project finance from both the public and private sector perspectives, geothermal risk and reward and a discussion of policies moving geothermal development forward.
